We don’t make you watch videos. We don’t require you to complete hours upon hours of writing exercises unrelated to your book. We offer an overview of the writing process then let you get to work telling your story. While our classes offer valuable information for all beginning writers, the one-on-one coaching that’s included in the fee allows you to focus on creating an entertaining, interesting story with a message. In addition to the classes and consults, we also edit your work and give you additional feedback on your manuscript. It’s like having your own personal editor.
You bet! Because the best way to write a book is, well, to write it. Exercises are designed to get you thinking about content, develop your voice and hold you accountable for achieving your goal. And you’re not just writing; you’re getting valuable feedback that specifically addresses your story.
No. We have six weeks to build your confidence, organize your story flow, get you writing and complete a chapter or two. We will not write your book for you (unless you request ghost writing services!) but we will help you outline exactly what you need to do to finish it once the class is over.
Figure out your audience. Is it for the mass population? Your family? Your children? A global company? Think about anecdotes that are important to the overall story and more importantly, start taking notes. Jot down the details that make these stories pertinent. You’ll refer back to these notes during class. This will help unlock your writer’s block.
Absolutely. You will have access to bonus materials including a suggested reading list, writing tips, common writing errors, and more.
Customers have questions, you have answers. Display the most frequently asked questions, so everybody benefits. We do not offer a cancellation policy. We keep our class size small to ensure results at an affordable price. Classes are also in high demand so we reserve the right to work with writers who are committed to writing their story.
The same time and day of the week will be determined before classes begin based on a general consensus of availability of the group.
There are no makeups. You are welcome to get notes from other students in the class. You will, however, be able to access all exercises, additional materials, etc. online.
You can submit a check or pay online through Venmo. Payment is due in full two weeks before classes begin.
We’re still here! We offer additional services such as one-on-one consultations, editing services, and ghost writing where you tell us your story and we write it.
